Steven Reider is a custodial engineer with the New York City Department of Education at PS 185/208. He was the custodial engineer at PS 241, The Family Academy, where the Gladiator Sports program began. Mr. Reider previously worked for Con Edison.
Mr. Reider has been invovled for many years with the North Yonkers Boys and Girls Club, a non-profit organization that runs sports program for children. He has coached many teams, including Pop Warner football, baseball, softball and basketball. He was a member of the board of directors and commissioner of baseball and football.
Mr. Reider hails from Absecon, NJ and has resided in New York for the past 28 years. He currently lives in Yonkers with his wife of 27 years, Barbara. They have three children, Matthew, Catherine and Jessica. It is with great pride that we induct Steven Rider into the Gladiator Sports Hall of fame.
