La-nel Harrison was born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx. He attended Walton High School and then went off to Delaware Valley Job Corps where he learned about computers. He now has his own business repairing computers. La-nel's love for the game of basketball is quite evident. He has played for several teams including the Gauchos, Walton High School and Delaware Valley Job Corps. Besides playing for basketball teams, he was also the head coach of Delaware Valley Job Corps, coaching ages 16 - 24.
La-nel joined Gladiator Sports staff in January 2007. He had been yearning to get back to coaching for quite some time and Gladiator Sports was more than willing to give him the opportunity. Working primarily with the younger groups, he was an instant success as the children of Gladiator Sports took to him immediately. He told all of his players to "never give up on your dream". La-nel Harrison is a welcome addition to the Gladiator Sports Hall of Fame.
